back home

I am retired and I find that not being busy is very boring. You can only play so much golf ( which I do at least 3 times a week ). So I began to look for work that would fit my golf schedule and I found TeleReach. There are so many advantages working for TeleReach: (1) You work out of your house, (2) you do not have to fight the traffic, (3) You can set your hours to meet your schedule and (4) you work with business people that understand why you call them.

TeleReach provides retired people an ideal work environment that not only gives them an enjoyable daily activity but also contributes to their income.

I home schooled our only child, Scott, from 2nd grade through high school. He just graduated in May.

I did not work during our home schooling years until this past year for a number of reasons.

  1. I needed to be at home.
  2. I needed flexible hours.
  3. I was not interested in getting involved in a "be your own boss" opportunity that involved buying a bunch of stuff and then trying to sell it.

One day I met someone (not a home schooler) who actually had a real job, with a legitimate company, working from home and I decided that's what I really wanted - a real job, with a legitimate company, working from home. I told my husband what I wanted and began to pray about it. Last summer he saw an ad in the Magnolia Potpourri that basically said "B2B Calling-a REAL job working from home" and he said, "Alice, these people might have your job. You might want to give them a call."

Sure enough, it is a REAL job, with a legitimate employer, working from home. I've been with the company for almost a year now and I love it. I get a W-2 at the end of the year for my income taxes, and there are benefits (vacation/holiday pay, and insurance) for those who work full-time, which is at least 30 hours per week. I decide how many hours I'm going to work on a week-by-week basis, and I decide how I'm going to work those hours. The only stipulation is that I have to work during normal business hours - 8 to 5, Monday - Friday.

TeleReach truly is a godsend to anyone who wants the flexibility of working from home and the opportunity to achieve success.

I worked for years out in the workforce. I did the commute daily from Katy in to town and back. It seemed I spent more time in the car than in our home. I wanted to be home more. I wanted time for my kids and family. I would sit in traffic and think if I only could work at home I could be home right now. Well, as I sat there waiting for the cars to move, I thought it was all a fantasy. I would never find a "real" job that would let me work at home. I looked in the paper and on the Internet to find something to do that would allow me to work from home without me paying them first or that was not a MLM. I was worried about all the scams out there. I figured there was no way I would ever find it. One day I was reading my subdivision new letter and there was an ad for Telereach. It said a "real" work at home job. I thought "Sure it is" and put the news- letter down. A few days later, I looked at it again, and thought about it for a while and decided to call. I figured I would find out it was another scam and I would keep doing what I was doing. When I called I was told to come in to the orientation meeting and decide if it was for me. I thought that was strange they didn't ask me about money or anything. So I went to a meeting a few weeks later. I was so impressed. This was a "REAL" work from home job. I get benefits, a W-2 at the end of the year and everything. I signed up for the phone interview and got started right away. I really liked it a lot. I made it through the first couple of weeks, and thought I can do this for a long time. I kept working for several months. Then I decided that I wanted to try something else and go back in to the work force. I kind of missed being with my co-workers. Well, I went back out there and found that it was not for me. Telereach gave me the freedom to be home when my kids are sick and still be able to work. It gave me the flexibility to be at the school when my son had an early basketball game. I used to miss those because I would be in traffic. I called Telereach to see if they were looking for people again and sure enough they were and I went back for another training and refreshed my memory on procedures and started back to work right away. I know for sure that I don't want to ever go back to that outside workforce again.

Telereach is not for everyone, but it sure is for me. I get my hours on Monday morning, I plan my week around what I need to get done. I still treat it like a job that I have to leave the house for. I work in my office and try to stay very organized. The only difference is, I have time to cook every night and eat at a decent time. I am home when my kids get home from school. They have figured out that when I have that headset on my head they have to be quiet and act like I am not here. I don't miss being out in the workforce anymore, because the benefits I get from working at home out weigh the cons.

When I first saw the add for "Work at Home" with Telereach, I was skeptical just like everyone else. My questions were:

  1. Are they legal?
  2. Am I going to get paid?
  3. Will they still be there in the next 6 months?
  4. Do they take out taxes?

Well fortunately, the answer to all the questions is "YES".

They have allowed me to work freely from home and to get my daughter through her last year of high school with home schooling. I was there for her if she had a question or needed me for some reason. I was also there for the rest of my family especially my handicapped sister who needs my help a lot in transporting her to the Dr. or to Physical Therapy. It was because of working from home for Telereach that my daughter was able to receive her High School Diploma with Honors. Your job is what you make it. You can make it easy or hard. That is up to you as an individual. Some days will be harder than others, but some days will be so simple. Fortunately I have had more easy days than hard. If you do have a bad day, don't give up because tomorrow will be better, I promise, just keep smiling and dialing. I can also certainly appreciate not having to get out on those cold/rainy winter mornings, or those hot/humid summer days having to put on those dreadful pantyhose. Telereach personnel are always there when you need them to answer questions or just a friendly e-mail. They are always offering bonuses for high productivity which is fun and a challenge too. I can assure you Telereach is a great company to work for and has some kind of future in store for everyone who is willing to give them a chance. Good Luck.
